"Microsoft" scam, claims she's from Microsoft and there's a problem with my computer and wants to take over my computer to put it right (she must of thought was born yesterday!) so played along with her for a few minutes before calling her a scammer and that there is nothing wrong with my computer. She obviously wasn't happy but she kept the scam going so I kept winding her up making her more annoyed. It seems that this number is associated with on-line scammers purporting to be from Microsoft in Reading. Um, a Glasgow number in reading, I don't think so! They become very abusive when contradicted or challenged. The latest representative called into question my lineage and suggested that I performed carnal acts with my mother. SCAM I let it go to voicemail. It had obviously been playing a prerecorded message while the greeting went out, so all I got was 'a warrant will be issued at your address' and then it cut off. I am not behind with any payments etc so I know it's a scam. It's recorded as a scam in 'hiya' as well.
