Male person - said he was returning a call I'd just made, but I hadn't. Sounded a bit confused and not remotely threatening, so probably just a technical glitch.
Called me. Didn’t answer as I don’t answer unrecognised numbers.
Unsolicited. Recorded message saying "suspicious activity on bank account" -- press 1 to go to operator. Details of money given but no details regarding holder of account or bank details. TOTAL SCAM -- DANGEROUS -- BEWARE??!!!

Heavily accented caller from outside the UK predictive diallers are banned here who could not pronounce my name They gave up on the call when I refused to speak English and they obviously didnt speak Gaelic
Claims to be in reference to an accident that I had within the last three years. I told him that I hadn't had one and he asked if perhaps I'd had one as a passenger. When I told him again that I hadn't had any accidents and that I thought it was a scam call, he hung up.

Definitely not British Gas. Very out of date information, no idea what name was on the account, could only give us details on our closed account from years ago, and tried to say our contact was up very soon (it's not)

SCAM! I was called from this number for the second time in 18 days. This time, however, I was out and missed the call. I recommend you have nothing to do with them and tell them nothing. It's almost certainly a scam!

SCAM; beware, there was a recorded message saying £600 transaction had just happened on my credit card and to press 1 to stop the transaction. my credit card complant would not call me from a mobile number using a recorded message. BEWARE
Recorded message purporting to be from my bank saying there were two unauthorised payments on Amazon, didn’t mention the name of my bank. Scam.
I tried to send a text message to this mobile number but it would not send so I blocked it.
Indian 'lady' called saying they were Right Energy part of uk-talk offering wholesale energy rates. Asked where she was located, she said Birmingham. After stringing her along for 10 minutes I asked what was happening with the Bull Ring, she clearly did not know what I was talking about especially when I asked if that's where she gets the bullsh*t from. Then said she was in Kolkata (aka Calcutta) not Birmingham. Said that I was in London helping police with scam callers - phone went dead!

Claims to be a HR Recruitment for a "Grafton Company" but will not specify which or the job they are hiring for. Further communication has netted me "a freelance role, £30-£40p/hr, flexible working time 60 -120 mins a day" and would like me to speak on Telegram and then WhatsApp for more information. SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here.
