Received a call from 0161 818 2004 earlier this afternoon from an chap with an Indian accent. He enquired about any motor accidents/claim that I may have had in the last 3 years. All he had was my phone number. I was immediately suspicious. He said he had a legal duty to obtain further details (name, address, date of accident, cars involved etc) and that I was legally obliged to supply it. He claimed to be acting on behalf of a bank of insurers, but failed to identify any insurers that I had policies with.

i ve received a number of missed calls from this number. If I don t know the number, I don t answer it, on the basis if it s urgent/an actual call, they will leave a message. No message ever left.

this is a total scam ... called me 50 times in the last week... woman with a scottish acsent asked for me by name ... stated as if it was a fact that id had a road traffic accident my reply was apparently so, her response was what date was it so i asked her what her computer told her because thats obviously right, to which she hung up ... honestly some people should not be aloud telephones, tried calling back 4 times just on hold then says "goodbye" and hangs up.... load of tripe

Got a call off this number saying they were doing reviews of life insurance for Zurich, asked me questions in a way that it sounded like she was testing me for the right answer (for security maybe!?) but as soon as I said to her surely you have this information in front of you the line went dead- then I googled the number and came across this thread! Unsolicited call. I m TPS registered. They said they didnt know that. They also refused to tell me where they got my number - just another annoying lawbreaking firm.

Did not answer call as number not in my contacts list. No message left on voicemail which is a bad sign. Tip if someone wants to get hold of you, they will leave a message, if no message, then either telemarketing or spam or scam callers
