This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.

Scammer - phone me claiming to be BT - ‘gentleman with an accent snd call centre in background’ told me he needed to check my broadband - I said I don’t have broadband and he immediately cut off - def avoid this number scammer and liar - next time if he rings I’ll def swear at him !!! Guy said he was from citizens advice, when I hung up he called back again and again, said he would sell my number to 300 companies and would not stop calling. VERY HARRASING. Reported to Ofcom and Police.
