Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... I ve had three missed calls from this number in as many weeks, I finally answered in time and it was someone from a local Honda garage (wirral based) asking about a car I had serviced with them recently, told them I d since sold it and they said they would update their records. Looks like tele-marketing as I m sure the next question would have been if I was interested in purchasing a new one instead.....

Called to say I d had an accident and a payout was waiting for me. I stopped the call at this point by saying I had not had an accident and the payout was not for me. Having said that twice the caller gave up.

I m guessing this is some complete time waster.. or cold caller because I got a call from this useless person. And when I tried to call them back they refuse point blank to pick up the phone. All I get is some bogus voicemail message. Either it was a time waster who dialled the wrong number or else there is some bogus cold caller because they never pick up the phone.

Never heard of these guys, and then suddenly- I recieve a phone call EVERY 10 minutes from them one day and half the time they hang up when I answer. Talk about inflicting anxiety and panic attacks.

Very unintelligible caller. The exact purpose I could not understand and I just said "no" and I hung up. The try it but again and again, but fortunately you can be blocked numbers.

Some Indian claiming to be from mastercard/visa wanting to speak with a Mr Lane..

No company announcement just a man (indian?) saying hello, and when I said hello and waited for a reply he then put the phone down.

The caller immediately rang off without saying anything. Perhaps it was because I have got into the habit of saying "Hello" loudly enough to damage the eardrums when I get these unwanted interruptions.
