BOURNEMOUTH
This is the second call in as many days from what appears to be a valid UK phone number but is most likely a cold caller masking their own number/ID and falsely making the call look like it's a UK number. I rang back the 'UK' number that phoned us the day before and it was a private individual living in Worcestershire. Neither she nor her husband had made the call. The Call Guardian phone has been worth its weight in gold as it deters 99% of cold callers - those that announce their names are then blocked

Says he is part of Waterstone solicitors. All about a car accident. Could be a scam but it been done well and stood up under questions from an underwriter. Not asked for any bank details, but has asked for proof of address, drivers license and NI. Could go either way. :/ Persistent.
