SCAM automated voice claiming to be from a government agency
SPAM Called me this morning and stated he was from Protect or perhaps Protec and stated that they were a government linked company and needed to arrange an inspection of my roof insulation which should be checked every two to three years to eliminate mould etc from damp or deteriorating insulation. I told him it was not necessary but then he lost any confidence I may have had in him by comparing it with a car MOT which has to carried out. I reminded him one is a legal requirement and ended the call.

Fraud Text Came through from HSBC telling me a payment had been attempted from a new device and if it was not me follow the link. When I followed the link it wanted user names, pin codes etc, very convincing.......if only I had any HSBC accounts.!
