Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I called them back from my land line and 141 d the number. after them hanging up on me 5 times they somehow transfered my call to my mobile!! So whenever I called the number my mobile rang! Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.
