Claimed they were from Windows Service Centre and that someone was trying to hack my computer I told them I wasnt interested and hung up They immediately rang back quoting my name and address I told them my Windows 98 computer wasnt connected to the Internet and they said I paid my Internet quarterly I replied quotfor my tabletquot The woman saw she wasnt getting anywhere and politely terminated the call

Scam call from HMRC threatening legal actions ... recorded message
Oriental sounding female named Ann, with unclear second name called at 16.25 11-07-22, said she was calling about loft insulation. I hung up and blocked call.
Beware Fraud! Spam and phishing. Got a text claiming to be a security alert from Santander with a link to update my security. Santander is not my bank.
Number appears to belong to Le Pain Quotidien (and comes up as such) but definitely does not. Le Pain Quotidien have been warned that someone's spoofing their number.

Called my son saying they were from HMRC wanting a payment and to press number 1, he didn't as knew this wasn't HMRC, as it's for a Dental practice in London. Obviously it's a fraudulent company using their number via the Web.

Fraud - Purports to be from my bank - didn't mention which one - tells me two suspicious transactions on my account .....you can guess the rest - another BLACKLISTED number on the handset!
