rang me 2 days ago asking me to complete a survey based on services I had used before, I politely asked for them to remove me from their contact list and they hung up. had another call from them again today, lady was very rude, told me that if I completed the survey I would not be contacted again. I explained I had already asked to be removed from the list and informed her I did not want to complete the survey. I asked not to be contacted again as I was not interested and she ended the call saying she would

Left two messages and asked to speak to a relation that has never lived here. I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.

Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

This is my second call the first one I blocked, has as this one been, both calls from people "acting on behalf of diabetes UK" i didn t let the conversation last as I asked where my number was obtained from, the guy said a survey as that s how they get them I must have opted in, I know very well with all surveys I either don t complete or opt out of contact.
