Have been receiving daily calls from these people - previously they have asked to speak to my mother and simply hung up when told she was out. Today, after more persistent questioning, the caller (who had a heavy Indian accent) said his name was David, calling from Windows Service Centre in Surrey, and that my parents computer has been downloading malicious software. Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

Sadly someone is using this number ... nit’s a cloned spoof number ( probably a Skype number ) and not the bt number it’s pretending to be
Fraud / Scam. Robotic Caller. Claiming to be HMRC, that there is an open tax fraud case against my name, and that they want copies of my details.
I'm getting calls at work, home and mobile from this number. I didn't go to Kings London. My uni know where I work so if they have to ask then it's clearly not them.

Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. Associated numbers are 08000148950, 08000148960, 02034567894, 02034535242, 02034535243, 02034535244, 02034535245, 02034535246, 02034535247, 02034535248. Block them all!
