I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.

Had a couple of calls from this number over the past couple of weeks, the phone rang for a while and when I answered the line went dead.
Called stating they were from currys-pcworld. trying to sell me a 3 year old model of phone for £20 per month. Suspected scam
Asked for a "Mr. Raymond"; when informed he had the wrong number, he requested my name to add to their caller registry. I declined, and he tried to tell me something about investing. I ended the call early by saying I had stuff to do. Overall the guy on the other end was very respectful and polite, and had a very mild Indian accent, so I think he might've been legit. Of note, however, is that my number is a Canadian number.
