I received a call from this number saying my washing machine was out of warranty as I consider warranties are not worth having due to so companies going out of business I never take advantage of them plus the appliance was brought years ago, I consider it a bit late plus I always check a number out once the call has been made and considering there is no record of it, it has got to a scam caller :-)

An automated message comes up saying the call is from HM Revenue & Customs, gives you a case file number, and says if you ignore the call, you will face legal applications. Then asks you to press 1 to speak to an adviser. The advisor distantly says she is calling from the HMRC and asks for your name. When I asked her where are you calling from again, she hung up.

They have gained access to her email, and set it up so that we can't take access back without contacting Google. Anyhow I don't do business with companies over the phone or with cold-callers; if I need or want a service I'll research into suppliers and go and look for it myself at physical business premises. Some people say this is a Manchester company, but the 0113 STD is for Leeds. Anyhow they've just got themselves blocked by me.
