Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17529375xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident chasers, insurance marketing and PPI. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

This number rang my phone, I didn’t recognise it and didn’t answer. I checked on this site and another site. On the other site there are several comments saying this number is a scammer. Sometimes they don’t answer when spoken to, and sometimes it is a person with a foreign accent wanting to talk about loft insulation.

A Boiler breakdown company on a really bad line - they asked if we had boiler cover and then said they could offer £9.99 per month. When I said it wasnt my decision to make they said that they could send out some details through the post, all they needed was a sort code and account number!? which made me suspicious as I hadnt agreed to anything. Called at 09:45. I answered but said nothing as I didn’t recognise the number, so they hung up, which I felt was very rude. After a few minutes I rang back, it went through to a voicemail which said it was Crown Glazing and if I pressed 1 then they would stop calling me. Do they think I am an amateur!?
