I hung up and blocked ???? the number. This is clearly a dangerous scam. Do not answer the call or press 1. HMRC would never do this. Beware.
Fraud - ignore all calls. This number called my grandmother today to say that she had been fraudulent and would be arrested if she did not comply. They will give you the ‘option’ to press 1 to sort it out. Highly recommend to ignore all calls and if you can add it to your block list. (01332846724)
