Had a call from this number on my mobile stating that I had had an accident. I told them that I had had a lot of accidents so which one were they referring to. She hung up. Why can't we do anything to stop these people harassing us all the time?

I was rung up on 30.8.21 by a female Indian (?) voice claiming to be a representative of BT. There was a large amount of background noise, indicating, presumably, that this female was ringing from some sort of call centre. As I do not have a BT phone I rang off before she could get into her stride about rates. My hope is that she and her colleagues will slip in a pile of dog poo and break their ruddy necks.

Have received several calls over the past couple of weeks from this number. It is displayed as this UK number but is clearly routed from overseas due to the time to connect. Caller asked to speak to a mispronounced name so I told them that that person didn t live here to which they immediately hung up.
They just rang me they said I have to pay 70 I gave my bank details my account number and sort code can they use it if they have got it they gave me there sort code and bank at first she said natwest then she said sorry I mean lyords they told me to go to my bank and pay them 70 pound to this account number there account number is 17983768 sort code 30 84 48
Called saying they were an Electrical Services company and had been passed the details of my business. They could only tell me the information had been passed to them but couldn t tell me who from. When I pointed out that they had obviously taken the information from my facebook page they hung up.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls mainly. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason!
