This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Got a call from the coop fraud department. But the message said "we cannot retrieve your details at this time please press any key" I did and it then asked me for my phone number. If it does this then IT IS A FRAUD CALL. Look at the website to see what message you will get. its very basic and not like this. It will ask a yes or no question and thats it.

They ring daily and say they are calling back to discuss a survey i have supposedly filled in recently, when i refuse they keep asking and asking if i will answer their questions so clearly there's an incentive for them. when i demanded my number to be deleted, i was then told they would only do this if i answered the questions and when i continued to refuse they hang up. they haven't got the message as the calls just keep coming :(
