Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. SCAM Claims they are Resolvcall and need to speak to me "urgently". Haven't a clue why they're phoning but they phone constantly. Have now ended up having to block their calls and texts. They have even turned up at my door looking for someone who doesn't live at my address - have checked my credit rating and there is nothing in this.

She said “oh realy then how are you able to respond?” Which is both nonsensical and confrontational. Then she put the phone down. She beat me to it.

Rang on a number of occasions now despite being ex-d & registered with TPS. Claim to offer consumer discounts on retail goods & services. Complete nonsense. Very persistent in trying to obtain bank a/c details for a £1 payment towards a trial payment. ITS A SCAM - DO NOT DIVULGE ANY DETAILS.

SCAM Claimed to be from BT Broadband and told me my internet router was sending error signals to them and that I wasn't getting the speed I should be. They give you a bit of blurb about internet speed and then ask you to turn on your laptop, they ask you to press 'Ctrl + Windows +R' then type: - 'Eventvwr' into the box. They then use screen that comes up to persuade you that you have a problem. Once they have you convinced, which is easily done if you are not tech savvy, the sting.. Your money!!!
