Had a call just now from this number on my land line. As soon as I said hello I got a high pitched sign and then a computer voice saying bye. Did 1471 and tung the number just to get the same high pitch sound and a computer voice saying your call canot be conetced this time. Am worried now its one of those calls that charges you when you ring it ????

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
