I didn t answer it as I didn t recognise the number. Instead I did a search for the number and came across this site with the exact same number identified as being related to a scam. This is a company that say they are a "Microsoft Certified Company", and that you have errors and malware on your computer. They then try to get you to go to www.ammyy.com, so that they can ostensibly "sort out" your problems by connecting to your computer but in reality they are trying to look for financial gain, i.e. passwords, credit card details or bank details.

rang me 2 days ago asking me to complete a survey based on services I had used before, I politely asked for them to remove me from their contact list and they hung up. had another call from them again today, lady was very rude, told me that if I completed the survey I would not be contacted again. I explained I had already asked to be removed from the list and informed her I did not want to complete the survey. I received two missed calls on same day from UK numbers (I am in Ireland with an Irish mobile) One already has a long complaint file against them on tellows.co.uk and was classed as a questionable recruitment company, but this one has no comments yet. However I did find this number on two other systems with comments about them trying to do a very persistent sale of Google Adwords and SEO services. I will be ignoring any further calls, particularly since they aren t leaving messages.

The guy rang about PPI. He had the wrong name for the number and when I pointed out it was a company number he wouldn t give up and said he wanted to help everyone. I told him I had no PPI and he still wouldn t give in. He wanted to know if I had gone through the claim before and I told him I have no loans or credit cards so then he moved onto whether I was sold PPI through a mortgage. I kept telling him my answer was no but he was very persistent.
