Called landline twice on 28 June 2017. No voicemail left. Got No. from 1471. Returned call only to receive a voicemail stating its a call from my local Lloyds Branch and that they will call again. I am waiting for this call again (IF it comes) and hope to play the caller for what it is worth. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036344xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with energy comparison schemes, government grants, green energy, but also classical PPI, insurance marketing - accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
SCAM Persistent automated calls claiming to be from 'your internet provider' (immediately an obvious scam as your own internet provider would identify themselves!) then threatens disconnection due to illegal activity on the account. Presume will then attempt to extort money, but don't listen to call beyond the first bit.
