SCAM I think received 2 calls so far, doesn’t connect just comes up as a missed call….. no idea who or what it is

This is the fourth time this week calls from 01223 reputed to be Cambridge? saying my bank account has been attacked etc when pressed 2 to talk to the operator a female Asian voice answered....I asked are you in Nagapur India, the line went dead? It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.

SCAM Says I've bought a Apple phone from Amazon and over £500 has been taken from my account. If I didn't order it press 1.To speak to Amazon accounts. I didn't order it. I didn't press !. I don't have a Amazon Account. I wouldn't buy a Apple phone.

Before I did I redialled it with a automatic message saying UK Ties please hold till someone answers, now saying this number isn't recognised saying now Suspected Scam on my mobile. Said he was phoning about how we pay our energy bill. Asked for full name,address,DOB,to confirm my identity! I held back and did not supply details as I suspected the call could be a scam. He offered to send an email (knew my email address) and then phone back. I told him to call in an hour as I was busy. No email received and he has not called back. When I checked this number on 'who called me' it made me super-glad I didn't fall for it. This is the most sophisticated scam call I have received - BEWARE !!

What made this so dangerous, was the fact that they used the Paypal site giving this number to contact to resolve the problem. Very cute, they nearly caught me, but they asked too many questions about bank accounts, which set the alarm bells ringing. Asked why, the call was terminated.

bit of a strange one, sounded like one of those scamming call centres judging by the noise in the background, this call came a few days after my google account was accessed by someone and google locked it down, seemed legit at the time but on second thoughts was a strange one, didn't really ask for any personal info so maybe I'm wrong but strange all the same, also they never called be back like they were asked to, so I will put it on here anyway since it may be linked to the hackers maybe might help someon
