Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

The company is called AIMS Legal and is also known as AIMS Reclaim and AIMS Financial. This is their address: 7, Trident Park, Trident Way, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1 3NU. Tel: 07677 448277 or 01254 454012 or 01254 297161. They are one of those spammer companies who will offer to reclaim your PPI for a large fee (when you can do it yourself for free). Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

I have been getting texts from this number for Microsoft login codes. I receive the text when i am trying to login to my work email (but only sometimes), and i also receive a text from Microsoft with the actual code. This number is not from Microsoft so it seems dodgy. Blocking it
