Had 20+ missed and silent calls from this number in the last 2 weeks, finally spoke to them today and another 'about your accident' scam.

Multiple calls

Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest. Tried calling the number back and It says service closed with a dial tone. Sounds like a scam to me. Please be aware.

Someone phoned from this local landline asking about my Lloyds TSB loan. I asked how long ago this was and then she hung up! So frustrating that I answered it as it was a local number....aaarrrghh!

Scam, I kept them on hold for 30 minutes whist they waited for me to turn my lap top on, I let them carry on telling me what to do on my computer whilst not doing it, before hanging up on them. Keep away

Asian woman asked if I was Mrs D. I asked 'who is calling'. She said she was from a telephone blocking service and asked if I was getting unsolicited calls from land lines. I said 'I'm getting one right now' and hung up.

Yes. I had a WhatsApp message on my mobile at 7:26pm on 13/4/18 saying call them within 24 hours or my number gets transferred per "my request" to another device. As I didn't notice this message until just now (9pm on 13/4/18) when I got an incoming call just fine, it was a bit of a clue to look up the number indicated before dialling it! Ignore and/or report to your mobile provider or other anti-scammer service.

Some female called Alee Gella from Microsoft UK office in Reading called this afternoon and advised me that there was a problem with my computer, which is quite amazing as there is no computer in the house they called!
