My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. I too have had money deducted from my Barclaycard. 29th jan It has taken till November and have been informed by swift financial that a refund is due in 30days that was the 26th Oct,nothing has materialised. What annoys me is swift are still sending me packs out to claim on other acts. They must be in on this scam. Where can I find out about act 1974. Sect 75 as I don’t think Barclaycard will refund now.

Had just been passed my accisent file for a not at fault claim, I replied with 'Is that so?' I was asked whether the information he was provided was correct - Interested to see where this was going my reply was ' please proceed' I was then spoken to rather rudely ' There is no point proceeding if its not correct' and was hung up on...... Had a Call from this number regarding Electrical system Insurance. When I said that I already had it, the female caller responded that it was with them, and because I had not claimed for three years they we going to reduce it from the current £180.00. I immediately knew it must be a scam, so I pressed the 'Block now' Button on my call Blocker.
