I called the telecoms company who own this number range. They only provide inbound calling services, and this number isn t in use with any of their customers. It means that the caller ID is being spoofed which is completely out of their control - the nuisance calls we are getting are really from a different number that is masking as 02070609965. Nuisance repeat caller, and sounded Asian based each time. Trying to sell phone lines. Told them to remove my office number, then he started talking at me in something sounding like Asian. Don't answer.
Ambulance chasers. Sick of them.
This showed up on my display and the recorded voice explained my internet was to be cut off "due to illegal activity" and offered the option of pressing "1" to "speak to an executive"- not a real phone number and to be sure a scam.

Call centre noise in background. Caller asked for "Mr or Mrs *my surname*" I asked who's calling, she said they're caling about the Health & Safety check for the loft insulation. Complete fiction. I told them they had the wrong number and to remove it from their system. Obvious data phishing scam.
