I keep getting recorded calls asking if I want energy efficient replacement windows under a government scheme. At the end of the message there is an option to press a single digit number on your phone (I think 7) to be taken off the calling list. Just got a call from Pauline claiming to be from Safe Call Solutions. She wanted to sell a box which would block unwanted market survey and cold calls. The cost would be 96p per week. I told her I would get back to her and the telephone number she gave was 03303530023. However when I dialled 1471, the number was 01273041661.Needless to say after reading other people's comments on this site, I will not be getting back to her.

SCAM Indian recruitment company Collabera is a SCAM. They contact me for a position with Bank of America. I've got an interview request but the links didn't work. I was contacted by the "supposed recruiter" asking me to call Bank of America. The phone I've called (this phone) does not belong to Bank of America. This phone number and several others are mapped to a telephony exchange with routes the calls to India.

Called me at 13.20 GMT. The line was dropped as soon as I answered. This is probably a computer generated call. A person will monitor several lines being dialled by the computer. The operator will pick up a call that gets a 'hit'. All the other lines will then 'drop out' ie hang up because the person monitoring the lines is speaking to some other poor unsuspecting victim.
