They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Didn't answer, voicemail was left saying he was from Advanced (never heard of them), wanting to talk about an invoice and saying he'd email me. No email received.

Do you need any hacking service? you want to recover what you lost to scammers? you need a blank atm with minimum of $20,000 withdrawal limit and maximum of $500,000 ? you want to spy on your partners phone or social medias?
SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. Noisy call centre background, man with very strong Indian accent said 'This is Sky <mumble> Maintenance ...' at which point I said 'No thank you' and cut him off and added his number to our blocked list.
Safe number noticed this number once every month on my telephone bill with a monthly charge of 14p. Turns out it is an automatic test call from PPP Taking Care alarm which we have for elderly mother. Called them to ask why we are being charged as we pay a quarterly handling charge. They very kindly switched this to a freephone number so no more charges.
