Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Fraud A voice with an American accent told me they were from HRMC and I was "wanted" for fraud. They wanted me to call them...presumably to "help" me with this. I hung up as this is clearly not how the HMRC behaves and people are not "wanted" in this way in the UK.

Number came with an email looking as if I had bought a TV on eBay which had a delivery address in a distant town. Checked eBay account and cannot find any evidence of purchases. Think it must be a scam. Person who answered the phone seemed very genuine!

Foreign sounding woman claimed to be from Amazon about recent order. I asked her several times 'What is Amazon?' and she hung up.

Looks like some miscreants are using this number from India and informing the people that they are calling for TataAIA Life Insurance. I got many calls from this number and I can sense that they are fraud. Be careful when you get calls from this number.

Called a 99 year lady for a second time in 4 days stating it was a government call thankfully the lady had her wits about her and intercommed me (scheme manager) to come and take over the call. When I mentioned who I was the caller immediately hung up

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.
