SCAM A man tried to tell me that my money was locked in the blockchain. I asked him to explain the blockchain to me and when I told him that he was wrong, he became aggressive. After doing a bit of digging, this is a Skype number and the caller is not in the UK at all.

Believe that this is Sky - we cancelled our subscription 3 months ago and they ve pestered me from this number relentlessly ever since, trying to tempt us back. No chance. Cancelling Sky was the best thing I ever did! £90 extra a month in my pocket and no Sky Sports on constantly (sorry, Husband). WOO!

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. 28 Oct 2021 - Received 3 phone calls from this number , Glasgow based - I finally answered could tell it was a call centre , asked lady with annoying voice what call was for.
