Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. HMRC SCAM 07477 169835 - Just received a call from this number purporting to be from HMRC about a letter being returned and threatening legal action and to press One to speak to an officer. Recorded voice message was a female with American accent.

Automated Scam call claiming to be internet service provider (Didn’t say which one) claiming Illegal activity on my Internet. They said my Internet would be shut down within 24 hours if I did not press 1 to discuss. Please just ignore if you receive one and hang up.

Call center Fraud I'm deeply suspicious about thing number - caller claimed to be offering an EE deal, but when queried on why they were contacting me this way they immediately slammed the phone down on me. Feels very fishy.

Kept calling back when I told the heavily accented person on the other end of the phone to go away and that I didn't want to talk to him. Would not tell me why he was calling. Finally threatened me that he would send people round to my house to deal with me.

Didn't answer call due to the number. No introduction just talking in the background as they did not know it had gone to answerphone. Not a European language being spoken but talked about 11 thousand and laughing. Possibly Indian. SPAM

Guy called saying he was from amazon when i said i was not intetested and i'd like him to remove my number from the system he then called me a mother f#*ker and told me to go and f#*k my mother!!! Blocked!!!!!!
