These people are scammers who target elderly vulnerable people. They cold called my mother who has dementia, despite her being registered with the TPS. They talked her into completely unnecessary cover for a washing machine for £225 pounds. This seems to be their MO as I have now seen it on numerous forums about them. This is now in the hands of her banks fraud team.

Scam: sent me WhatsApp saying Hi then pretend they mistakenly contacted me. This person went on to attempt to befriend me, going as far as saying we can travel together and they will pay. Obviously the warm up for the scam to come.

Man with a strong Asian accent called one evening claiming to be from "Lloyds Bank" asking to talk to the "account holder" and confirm security details.
