They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. This did not work so i was told to visit www.ammyy.com. Here they did gain access and I sat back to watch the mouse pointer open and close multiple files etc. Much file info was Transfered and after sometime they phoned again to ask if the PC now worked faster,,,,Answer was, "NO". This company hold all my information, initially the called and said they were MAC, I checked online but found no such company they then called again asking for my partner(different number than mine) about making a claim for a car accident. They had a detailed account of what happened and where, but were very evasive when challenged as to where they had obtained the data from. It is my opinion that these companies are buying information from insurance companies!
