This number calls me every week

I had a call on my phone after activating my SIM which had been dormant for 12 months with Orange/EE They did not leave a message. Strange they got my number 24hrs after reactivating SIM!!!

The caller from this number left messages on my mobile in which they said they were calling from my bank and unless i called back they would have to cancel a recent transaction. They are obviously not from my bank ! Not sure what they wanted but I will not be calling back in case it costs me !

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.

I answer only if I know the number because I know that if I don t have it,it will be a call centre or similar. This number tried to call me 5 time in a week! is it important? leave a message!

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Telemarketing for PPI claims. Nuisance calls as they keep calling once or twice a day, sometimes hang up without speaking. When they do speak they try to give the impression that they already have details of what you can claim for while asking intrusive questions. They have twice told me that I will be removed from their call list.

Typical scam call, fake area code and all that.

This number (07379 253353) is printer on stickers that have been stuck on people?s front doors without consent. When you attempt to peel the sticker off, it damages the paintwork. The police suggest you never called the number on a sticker if you need a locksmith as often they are scammers. Apparently the stickers are also used by criminals to identify premises that are vulnerable and could be burgled by accomplices later (Google to find news articles on the subject).
