Let them ramble on for a bit; apparently I could be owed thousands in PPI claims, which they would chase for me for only 30% of it. For reassurance they gave me a different callback number to the one that had rung on my mobile, then asked if I would speak to my bank and request PPI information on their behalf while they kept me on hold. I have just received a call from this number as a call from HMRC. A robot told me to press one or I will be arrested shortly
SCAM!!Got an email under the pretence that it was my boss! It then asked me to go out and buy 10 copies of £100 gift cards (£1000 total) as presents for the staff. When I asked about payment he proceeded to ask me to pay for it out of my own cash and I would be reimbursed. I told him I didn’t have that kind of money lying about and he told me to just get what I could. He was also VERY insistent on this being a secret surprise. Thank god I realised this was a scam but I worry about others falling for this

Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.
They were asking me about the accident that didn't have 2 years ago. Don't bother answering!
