SCAM
Energy consultant claiming to be local to me in Cambridgeshire
Caller said his name was Adam?? obviously not judging by his accent and said it was about my appliance insurance policy and asked me to confirm that I had not made any claims in the last year and to see where this call was going i said yes. He then said that as a result I was entitled to a 30% discount. On asking what this policy was going to cost he said £650.00 for 3 years but with my discount it would be £390 I concluded our conversation by telling him to **** off and blocked his number
HMRC threatenning legal action unless i rang back their number. Assume scam.

Call centre in background. Said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse asking if I was currenly in a contract. I asked where he'd got my number and he said he was authorised to call anyone with a mobile. I'm registered with TPS (for what it's worth).
Claimed to be from Virgin technical department and wanted to know how my broadband service was ? I terminated the call.
They called me asking for details
Nasty pre-recorded fraudulent message purposting to be from HMRC. Threatens immediate warrant for your arrest unless you press "1" on what is presuambly a premium rate reverse charge scam. Just hang up on these scummy predators.
Ifonic spent about two hours to convinced me to sign up with them to claim compensation for illegal bank/loan/credit card fees. I paid them £990 and have received absolutely nothing, no compensation whatsoever. They are licensed conmen. Keep well away.
