These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Keep getting calls from this number over several days and several times of the day. About oven cleaning and BBQ cleaning I just hang up. Have blocked this number on my handset now and reported them to ICO. Are registered with TPS but looks like they only deal with human people phoning you and actually talking to you type of calls.

Someone called up saying they were from BT to supposedly report that our internet was being hacked. They were extremely vague with details and tried to use different technical terms but it made no sense. He didn t call from this number but said we should use it to call him back. He called from 01398 774762 which has also been reported as fraudulent multiple times.
