SPAM A very quick internet browse told me that this was a spam call and so it proved. Don't even know what it was they were trying to sell, offer, advertise or what but the caller didn't even sound sure of what he wanted to tell me! Just told them where to go.
SCAM. Female with Liverpudlian accent claimed to be calling about council repairs, hung up when asked for company name.

Phoned several times, didnt recognise number. Didn t answer the calls. Also phoning on land-line as I am ex directory how do they get my number. Very annoying.
SCAM Got a call claiming to be from Mastercard & Visa. Apparently I had made a payment of £600 to a foreign country. Hung up there. I don't have £600, so I don't think I'd be making such a payment. SCAM!

Fraud Suspect? received call at 10:15 am 15/5/23. checking on 2 Card transactions which may be fraud. This number I did not recognised as pertaining to my own banker numbers. I hung up phone.
Man phoned claimed to be from UK today, although a quick Google search nothing came up. Unusual as it's a bank holiday Monday.. asked for 30 seconds of my time.. asked if I was a home owner, and what age bracket I fell in.. 30 seconds were up so I hung up

Fraud They claimed to be from RBS bank and had access to all Personal banking information, personal information and could see me using the banking app whilst they were on te phone. They then asked for a payment of £201.56 to be made to ‘Mary Monco’ and at that point I knew it was fraudulent. Reported to RBS and they confirmed it wasn’t them

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam. Voice message claiming to be from Amazon telling me Amazon Account has been blocked.
Spoofed number purported to be from "Amazon Prime" about a subscription renewal (it's not due), so obviously a scam with a request to "press 1 to discuss". No way. Number blocked.
Hung up when I asked them to repeat the company name they were from, and still couldn't catch it after a second repeat.

Safe number - Life Insurance broker. Did my insurance a while back. Called me to review a couple of years afterwards hence why I googles the number. They're a ligitamte firm and were excellent with me and the arrangements. Definitely not a scam or dodgy number.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. These people want you to think they are from Visa and say that a large amount of money has been removed from your bank account (they don’t mention either your name or the name of your bank or any bank) unless you contact them immediately. It is a recorded message but it is a scam. And they are persistent. This is the third day in a row around about the same time each morning. It is clumsy but people may be taken in.
