Missed call from this number, looked it up, reports of it being a scam number.

Calling claiming to be from Lyca Mobile able to get a better rate on contracts Assumed to be a scam due to due to contact preferences with Lyca as well as TPS registration

got called today as previous comments say, my internet being hacked was going to be cut off etcasked for number to ring back once checked and gave me 83 but asked me to ring using my mobile so i stayed connected with him but refusedbe aware of both numbers

SCAM / SPAM Called about the renewal of a warranty that we don't have for our washing machine. Hung up when challenged. Number not recognised when called back. Very suspicious.

Fraud Just found out a criminal case has been opened against me over an automatic call, asked me to press 1 for more info. You scammers get ridiculous sometimes.

See previous comment. These Jingly bar stewards just call a slightly different number making the BT call blocker a complete and utter waste of timer. BT are just a bunch of fraudsters as well and will do nothing to prevent these nuisance calls as are the Government and Offcom. Another valid point is that when someone states on their merchandise "STOPS UP TO 99% OF NUSIANCE CALLS" I would suggest that 1% is up to 99% and they should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act.

SCAM / SPAM Said they were calling about the online competition I'd entered to win Amazon Vouchers. I hadn't entered a competition and they wouldn't say which one.

TAXES / HMRC Didn't answer, automated call that left a voicemail which cut off the start. Said about speaking to "one of our officers now". So sounds like HMRC or similar - number now blocked.

I rang virgin on their regular number, 789, and they said there is no problem on my account, did not recognise the number, and not to answer or reply to it.

Calling themselves "pension audits" the audacious, swaggering caller didn't care about anything I had to say and refused to give his number and felt like getting all pally.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.
