Was given this number as the customer service number for telephone preference management. They rang me from 54 saying I had registered years ago for the service, and they were updating systems. They wanted me to confirm my expiry date was 2018 on my card f
just called Avon and Somerset police and tyhe operator said it is likely to be a scam. If unsure ring the police on their published number and they will check.

13/07/2017 01393 847 125 called at 16.23. I didn't answer but got the number from dialling 1471. I am also ex-directory and registered with the TPS. I have a recorded message for cold callers on my phone. I keep a list of all unfamiliar numbers who call me and don't seem to have been called by this number or similar before.
