I have caller ID. The number 00349441210763 was shown which immediately changed to 01213140763, so I suspect the number was spoofed. The first number was probably spoofed also, as I have international calls barred. The caller had a thick foreign accent and I did not understand everything that was said. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility. TPS is useless against these callers.

Name of company was something or other polls. Caller had a heavy Asian accent and I think he has called many times before for different companies. Said he wanted to ask me only four questions about my use of brands but his first question was to confirm my address, at which point I hung up.

Just had a very intresting 1/2 hour phone call with these idiots. Strung him along, he said do this/do that, type in this type in that, of course I kept telling him I was getting all sort of error messages. He said he couldn t get into my computer, I eventually told him my computer wasn t even turned on, I had great fun. I told him I wasn t an idiot and he should find another occupation.
