Called me for the past week I rang back, no answer.
Had a voicemail from this no. (very scripted). Northern Gas & Power trying to sell energy. I don't think it's a scam (and if legit their reviews on trustpilot seem reasonable). That said it was an unsolicited sales call, and I don't look after the gas and electricity anyway!

Called no message left. When I returned the call a real person answered alleging they were from HMRC. The call had very noisy background which sounded like a call centre. I immediately hung up the call.

These people who purport to be from the UK Trade Register keep calling me on variations of the 020 3409 .... numbers and each time they call I tell them I m now ill (its not going to get better!!) and block the number. But they won t listen. The guy today just talked over me, ignored my comments and pleas to be left alone and continued bombard and talk over me. I eventually hung up. There must be something we can do to stop this sort of harassment.
The day i was scammed was thesame day i lost my daughter, i was totally destroyed emotionally for 3 month. i didn't have a dime left in my bank besides my credit. all my life savings was cleared from my bank by some investment scammers which i shared my banking details with. the police and the bank only filed a report and closed the case, i was left all alone to suffer it and i can swear it was a living nightmare. Fraud - called me saying that the national crime unit has suspect my national insurance number has been used for fraud. It was an automated voice and wanted me to press 1 to speak to a person. I ignored it.
