Suspicious text from this number to "mum" pretending it is "the new number on whatsapp" because "the screen is completely shattered". Do not trust this number. Do not call back or call on whatsapp. Potentially dangerous.

This number called me, I am located in south of England, at 1251 local time (GMT) informing me my Internet would be turned off within one hour and offered me various people to talk to in order to avoid this. It sounds very much like a scam for either hacking my system, or extracting money from my account. I would suggest this number is potentially a scam and should be upgraded to rating 8, 9 or 10.

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They asked when I last made changes and as it is a new account I said I hadn't made changes. They asked how long I have had the account and I said I wasn't comfortable sharing that info. He asked why and I said he was calling from a random number and how do I know who he is. He said "Well I don't know. How DO you know who I am, I am calling from UK Tarrif." I hung up.
