I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Received a call from this number today asking me for my work ID number. Refused to provide as the person who did not identify himself when calling my private phone number. Asked from where he obtained my number got no answer. When calling back, person did not take call. Going back to base explained the incident to my manager, manager called this number from the office landline caller took the call and was still demanding the ID number said he will get it anyway and hung up.
