Recorded message (automated) stating that HM Customs & Excise had filed a lawsuit against me and press on the dial pad to speak to the case officer. The message did not record on the voicemail system and is quite clearly a scam.

Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.
