At 6.50 this morning we were woken by a pestilent recorded message from'Amazon'. Please someone stop these bastards

Safe number, at least when I rang them back it was some kind of agency checking on housing associations and whether they were keeping up to date with repairs. When I said I had no problems the lady said she'd update the record and that was the end of the call.
SCAM wanted authorisation for payment from account on ther pretext some activity not normal on account .
They texted me as if they were CV library however they tried asking me for my bank account details via a text. This is the text they sent: Benefit and requirement - Work week - 6 days (600USDT) - Only 30-60 minutes of work per day - Flexible hours and location (can be arranged by yourself) - Must be 21 years old or older - Training will be provided - Bank account required for salary purpose Never give any personal information away via text. Always use an official website.

It tells me to contact them on 03333392763 if I had NOT made the purchase. I did not call them, instead I contacted the fraud dept. of Lloyds Bank. Claimed to be calling from "credit investigation unit" and government had shortlisted me to write off 90% of my debt. I got him to stop, then said I was recording the call and began quizzing him. The story he spun twisted and flipped, wouldn't answer how/why the government knows what my credit status is, or who compiles the shortlist, or where his employer got it. I repeated that I was recording the call and suggested it was a scam. He swore and cut off the call.
