Says things like ?and how do you know your life insurance isn?t now up for review? to try and fish for information regarding when your life insurance is up for review to make them sound legitimate. Also said ?we?re not dodgy, I think it is cause of the Welsh accent people often assume I?m from a call centre?. Hung up when I told him I was at work. I think they guess who you have life insurance with so they sound legit. They call around once a month.

I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. Auto message started "Please hold........" I hung up. Getting realy annoyed at cold callers and auto callers. I am on Telephone Preference Scheme and they still call. Even after I tell them politely I am on TPS and to remove my number. Further calls from the same number I am less polite too. Sooner or later I may reach the stage where I will only have the last resort of blowing a whistle down the line to see if that stops them.
