Received repeated calls from this number - mostly not answered. Today, received 3 calls! 1&2 - re: boiler upgrade. At end of message says 'press 9 to opt out' - so I pressed 9. 5 mins later, call from same number saying 'you have been involved in a no fault accident'. Opted out again & blocked number.
It is the police. It s a ghost number so it doesn t show up as unknown/no number. Always check and confirm who people are though as there are scams. Scams will ask about credit cards, and want info they can actually benefit from.

Receipt of this call coincided with the real Talk Talk offering a new contract designed to keep me as a customer. A preliminary was that they were improving my broadband to stop buffering - a long-standing issue.
