We receive so many nuisance calls that my head is spinning. Was it my boiler, sash windows, that motor accident (which never was) computer at risk, insurance due for renewal, energy-saving deals with huge savings, courtesy of subsidies from the government (oh,really?) or what? To the best of my knowledge this is the first time that this number has `phoned. But, I did not pick up the receiver - I never do unless I recognise the number on the display as bona fide .We then block the number on the handset. This

Just had a call from Caroline from UK Advisory Group -tel. no. 01454 412399 - telling about a cheque I'm going to receive from the Goverment which is repayment of erroneous bank charges. She asked me to give her some personal details for verification purposes and although I did they were all false. ???? Apparently I can now expect a call from her Financial Manager who will verify how much I will get. Can't wait to hear what this is assuming he calls that is!
