Aparantly a Manchester number who phoned and left no message. On phoning back number permanently engaged. Probably cold-calling others.
claimed to be from the security department (but didn't say of which bank/credit card company) claimed to have identified two probably fraudulent transactions. invited me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to someone. I pressed 2, but the line went dead. Looks to me very much like a scam.

I moved house four months ago. I have a private and protected landline number (used to be called ex-directory). I have a call from this number at 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening??? How and why??
